an experiment...
Got lucky and was there when meat was marked down, so I stocked up on beef. I think I won't need more groceries for 2wk; still have a bit in the freezer (5lb of chicken, ~7 meals of leftovers, some sausages?, 4lb tofu). Got significantly less fruit than usual, but I am tired of eating canned fruit. I need to make an orange sauce. The only one I could find at the store had 16g added sugar per serving...no thanks.
Predicted meals: egg bake, tilapia, beef and oyster sauce, taco bowl, baked tofu, leftovers.
Actual meals: tilapia, yogurt.
Things to use up: soy milk, tofu, raspberry preserves (dump in yogurt), CT sauce (use on meat...it's almost gone), Thai basil (??? basil pesto???), that last bit of pandan extract? Have a bit of cilantro/garlic/pepper paste, which could go on meat. Lemongrass could go on meats too.
Times ate leftovers: 1.
Meal prep / time spent. I'm trying to minimize this...as much as I love curry, the sheer volume of time spent on a meal can tire me.
Takeout?
